• Arthritis, Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain

    A six-week series of classes held once a week for two hours. This self-management program that gives participants the knowledge and skills they need to manage their chronic pain condition. Topics include exercise, pain management techniques, problem solving, fatigue, doctor-patient relationships, and coping strategies.

  • Healthier Living

    Living with an ongoing health condition such as diabetes, obesity, arthritis, or anxiety doesn’t mean that you have to be ruled by it. Workshops are highly participative, where mutual support and success build each participant’s confidence in their ability to manage their health and maintain active and fulfilling lives. This evidence-based program developed by Stanford University, is facilitated by two trained leaders, 2.5 hours, once a week, for six weeks.

    Location: County Wide

    Fee: $20 donation (sliding scale available based on income)

  • Managing Stress

    Move Beyond Stress and Maximize Performance! In this four session, 1.5 hr series, we explore the physiological effects of stress, and investigate how we as individuals respond to stress. Armed with this understanding, you will learn skills which help to re-orient your mental and physical responses toward enhanced quality of life and improved performance in high intensity situations.
