Listed below are the various programs that the Center for Well-Being offers to individuals and to the community:
- Self-Care Classes
- Self-care classes are group education classes that empower individuals with knowledge and skills to manage chronic disease and promote health.
Services Available in Spanish
- Learn more about the individual services available in Spanish as well as the Center for Well-Being's program to teach local community members to become Promotores de Salud (Promoters of Health).
Advocacy
- Health Advocacy is an integral component of the Northern California Center for Well-Being's mission to serve the community. As Sonoma County’s premier non-profit health education and wellness center, the Center for Well-Being is the only access for all health education center in Sonoma County who’s sole focus is patient self-care. The Center’s mission is to promote the well-being of the whole person by empowering people with knowledge, skills, and spirit to take responsibility for personal, family and community health.
Individual Services
- Learn more about the individual services the Center for Well-Being can help you with to attain your personlized health goals.
Employee Wellness
- You can create a workplace that encourages a healthy lifestyle and helps employees acquire and maintain positive health habits. Participation in the Center for Well-Being's worksite wellness program can improve your employees' health, outlook and physical and mental capacity to be more productive at work.
Healthy Cooking Classes
- The Center for Well-Being can help you learn new recipes and techniques to preparing and cooking nutritious foods that promote optimal health.
- HeartWorks Fitness Center
- HeartWorks is a supervised exercise environment providing a structure for people who want to be more physically active. An Exercise Specialist, Cardiac Nurse and an Exercise Physiologist provide individualized instruction. HeartWorks is run in collaboration with Northern California Medical Associates and receives strong support from both Sutter and Memorial Hospitals.

Education and movement programs are provided for people with diabetes, coronary heart disease and congestive heart failure, high cholesterol, asthma, arthritis, and other diagnoses.
